Singing Telegrams
Whether it's a birthday celebration in Santa Maria, a going away event, or a retirement party in San Luis Obispo, our singing telegrams are perfect for the occasion!

A surprised "celebrity"

Before the event takes place, we get inside information about the person the telegram is for. We'll call this person the "celebrity".
The information can include the "celebrity's" pet peeves, embarrassing moments, hobbies, habits and phrases they might say frequently. Also included are sentiments of how the person or group sending the telegram feels about this individual.

"A photo opportunity"

The obtained details are then woven together into a full page comedy poem. With poem in hand, we then show up with a balloon bouquet, dressed in a character of your choice:

    "Happy Birthday"

    		After drawing the "celebrity" out of the crowd and making the special person the center of attention, we proceed to read the poem in a dramatic style!

     

    When the poem is read amongst a group of friends or peers, we usually have to pause every few lines and wait for the laughter to die down!

    We then sing a nice appropriate song for the occasion. For example, if it's a birthday, we'll then sing a round of Happy Birthday with the group. When the telegram is done, the "celebrity" gets a nice copy of the poem for a keepsake. The telegram is truly a work of art!

    We use the term "Singing Telegram" because that has been the traditional name most people use for this type of entertainment. A more descriptive term for what we do would be "Comedy Telegram" because we typically make the poem we read to be comical in nature. For a wedding anniversary or Valentine's Day we can tailor the poem to be romantic. If it's a send off or retirement party the poem can be appreciative or sentimental.
